Become an Upstander for Change
Small Actions. Lasting Change.
Take the pledge & become an
upstander against discrimination
The Here for Good Pledge is a commitment to creating a safer, more respectful and inclusive society.
By taking the pledge, you are choosing to stand against discrimination, bullying, harassment and behaviours that contribute to family and domestic violence.
We believe prevention begins with everyday actions—how we speak, how we treat others and how we respond when we see behaviour that causes harm.
As an Upstander, you commit to:
✓ Treating others with dignity and respect
✓ Challenging harmful attitudes and behaviours
✓ Supporting equality and inclusion
✓ Speaking up when it is safe to do so
✓ Helping create safer communities for future generations
Together, thousands of small actions can create lasting cultural change.
What is an Upstander?
An Upstander is someone who chooses action over silence.
When they witness discrimination, bullying, harassment or harmful behaviour, they do not simply look away—they help create positive change.
Being an Upstander does not mean confrontation. Sometimes it means offering support, challenging a stereotype, starting a conversation or leading by example.
Every respectful action contributes to a safer and more connected community.
